Program Outline
1. Self Awareness & Self Management
Professionals that want to become the best possible leaders in their organisation are not afraid to challenge their perceptions. They like to take a critical look in the mirror and ask themselves how they can bring maximum value to all stakeholders in their organisation. And then they strive to become better every day so their positive impact transcends their appointment, even after they have moved on.
2. Social Awareness & Relationship Building
Great Leaders exist by the grace of their Teams. Those teams don’t fall out of the blue sky but they are built and nurtured with great care. Leaders understand that organisations or companies are not built out of brick but out of its people. They are the cornerstone to the success of the organisation. Good employees are the ambassadors of your organisation. They are the reason clients do business with you again and again which leads to growth in multiple ways.
3. Lead the Way to Responsibility
Organisations thrive by a workforce that is engaged and feels that they too are personally responsiblefor its success, now and in the future. That behaviour doesn’t come natural to all people and so the Leader must show what it means to take responsibility and that it is safe to do so. Even when a mistake was made. By doing so the organisation can learn and improve its performance in the future.
4. Build Trust by Excellent Decision Making
Every day we make hundreds of decisions without even noticing. Many are not critical but some are. Decision making is one of the products of the Leader. How to do this right requires insight in processes, risk analysis and in possible outcomes. Also it requires us to assess ourselves in terms of ethics. Would you make the same decision if it was published for the outside world to see?
5. Be Influential and a skilled situational Leader
You will lead individuals with very different needs when it comes to being influenced and so you need to understand situational approaches to leadership. Earning trust is the building block under your leadership. Positive leaders have earned the trust people have in them. Discover how you can influence what your team thinks, how they approach challenges and how you can lead each team member to show certain productive behaviour. Apply your new insights for the benefit of the organisation.
